Operating mode:

> The energy of the sun is absorbed from collectors, that are mostly installed on the roof.

>Through the collectors a vehicle is flowing, mostly a water-glycol-mixture, to make sure that the construction is also working in winter.

>This vehicle is being warmed-up by the solar irradiation and guided to the solar collector by a pump.

>Inside the solar store there is a heat exchanger from which the warmth of the vehicle is given to the filling water.

>The vehicle leaves the heat exchanger cooled-down and is guided again to the sun collector, where it is warmed-up by the energy of the sun again.

>Now the process starts from the beginning. It is a closed circle.

Assembly:

The collectors are being installed in different inclinations, based on the sort of the construction and the intended use. The orientation to the sun usually happens in a south-eastern direction.

There are different types of collectors, the most current types are flat plate collectors, assembled on or inside the roof, or tube collectors. Which collector is the right one, depends on different parameters like usage, space requirements und type of construction.
